My question is how do they deliver their nutrients any differently than any other natural product? Maybe I look at it like a carpenter in a very simplistic way. When I build a house I order the wood, nails, glue and whatever I need beforehand and have them delivered to the job site. Then I put them together there to make the house. Now if the basics like nails didn't get delivered how easy would it be for me to build the house? Not so easy right? Well, the same goes for the nutrients we consume. If say the nails don't reach our cells or iron the same thing happens, the building doesn't work well. No, maybe the SOD or Superoxide Dismutase doesn't make it there whole, because the body breaks things down into their basic parts and then delivers them through the stomach then the blood stream then to the cells and I think you get the idea. One thing about our Chaga though being in liquid form is that you can take it under the tongue and it is in such a state as to be taken up by the blood right then and there to be delivered to the cells to rebuild them there. Now that's if all the parts are there. Does that make sense? At any rate, there are a lot of parts to be delivered with Chaga. There are over 215 of them. Get some now.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), an antioxidant produced by the human body and present in some foods, was tested in the same samples. The SOD tests on Wildcrafted Siberian Chaga extract demonstrated values of 3,781 kunits SODeq/ liter, 5 times more SOD than Xango and 9.8 times more than Noni on a volume comparison. The SOD data on Chaga International’s Wildcrafted Chaga compared to various other medicinal mushroom tinctures shows that your Chaga aqueous extract has 46.7 times more than Cordyceps sinensis, 44.5 times more than Maitake, 157.5 times more than Agaricus, and 164.4 times more than Reishi. What I can conclude for now is that the high Superoxide Dismutase in the Chaga extract would be very useful to protect all bioactive ingredients in the mushroom from becoming degraded from free radical damage and hence should be helpful in delivering the potentially healthful phytonutrients into the body when people consume Chaga. The SOD values are in general agreement with the ones reported by James Osugi that he obtained from the Japanese health ministry evaluations.
Chaga is full of life giving nutrients and antioxidant medicinal properties and contains over 215 Anti Aging Phytonutrients and key nutritional elements including the following:
Super Oxide Dismutase or SOD: A potent antioxidant that protects cells from oxidation and free radical damage
Inotodiol Triterpenes: Aids in balancing cholesterol metabolism, improve digestion, detoxify the liver and helps respiratory ailments, Show promise as an anti-viral compound in laboratory testing. (Kahlos, 1995, University of Helsinki)
Betulinic Acid: A pentacyclic triterpene. Has anti-bacterial properties and retards progression of HIV infections. Being investigated for its cytotoxic potential in human melanoma cell lines.
Beta Glucans: Many different types of these polysaccharides are present that enhance the immune system and assist the metabolism through improved intercellular communication.
Melanin: Enhances the appearance of hair, skin and eyes, restoring a more youthful appearance. Has demonstrated high antioxidant and genoprotective effects (Int. J. Medicinal Mushrooms, 2002)
Also contains other valuable substances including important nucleosides, minerals, amino acids, saponins, magnesium, sesquiterpenes, flanosterols, lactones, xylogalactoglucans, obliquol, trametenolic acids, tannins, steroids including ergosterols and lanosterols, and others, all offering tremendous health benefits.

Another lost 50 pounds of toxins. Anyone else find benefits from the tea please comment. A lady in the late 1800s wrote and I think it's true. "There are herbs that are harmless, the use of which will tide over many apparently serious difficulties."

Protandim is a clinically proven supplement that provides substantial benefits for healthy aging. This patented indirect antioxidant therapy works in a very different way than conventional foods such as red wine, oranges, blueberries or other popular antioxidant supplements. Unlike those types of products that have proven to be largely ineffective in reducing oxidative stress caused by free radicals, Protandim is an indirect antioxidant therapy, which stimulates the body’s production of its own powerful antioxidant enzymes. Protandim works at the cellular level, triggering cells to naturally increase production of protective antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, and glutathione synthase.
A peer-reviewed human clinical study showed that after Protandim was taken for 30 consecutive days, important biochemical markers of aging were decreased by an average of 40%. The study also reported that these markers of aging were reduced in the subjects taking Protandim to the level of a typical 20 year old. Protandim is currently the subject of approximately 20 scientific studies at universities and research facilities. The nature and stages of the studies vary. Under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, Protandim is considered a “dietary supplement” and, as with all dietary supplements, Protandim is not intended for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation or cure of any disease.
